Randy Kelley, BS, FMP - Assistant Principal

As the Assistant Principal at The Gateway Academy, Randy Kelley has taught students with learning differences since 2006. He has led several departments and has created several new vocational programs giving students future employment training. His multifaceted roles encompass overseeing the school's facilities, imparting valuable martial arts skills as an Instructor, and leading the Coding and Drone Piloting courses, fostering discipline and critical thinking among students.

Prior to joining The Gateway Academy, Randy served as an Account Manager in the Collateralized Debt Department at JP Morgan Chase. This professional background instilled a deep understanding of financial principles, which now enriches the curriculum with valuable lessons in financial literacy and responsible money management.

Beyond the confines of the academic sphere, Mr. Kelley cherishes the role of a devoted parent to three gregarious children, actively participating in a diverse range of interests. From exploring life coaching to honing expertise in martial arts, construction techniques, drones, brain-based research, and money management, his unwavering commitment to continuous learning ensures students receive an education that empowers them for a dynamic and ever-evolving world.
